It does hurt. How much time have you spent on be a goalkeeper that all you cunts asked for? At the end of the day, all the fads go out the window and you end up on normal 11 a side football and all the wankery stops proper gamers like me getting the best experience because so much money and time is wasted on such fads. What you'll actually find is its pretty much the prelude to a separate title coming out, eventually it will reach a point of being a player simulator as its own entity from the FIFA game in all likeliness. For now they're just gradually building it up. The long term view would for it to be its own entity viable enough to sell copies on its own, afterall, if you could get people to pay £40 for FIFA and then £40 for FIFA: Be a Pro and get good sales on both fronts you'd be stupid not too. Right now it just doesn't have enough depth to be sold on its own though.

Football manager concentrates on the football and not stupid fads, this is the way fifa is heading.

Yea, but the thing you're failing to realise is the games industry doesn't give a toss about one persons opinion. They'll see online figures for how often elements are used for it, all games started out pretty basic in the sense that F1 games had their origins in just cars shaped like F1 cars racing around random tracks for no real reason.
I'm not much fond of it but Be A Pro has the potential to become the kind of release the likes of Fight Night are, it has to be different because its a sport that focuses more on weekly games but there will be training mini-games, contracts etc and it will probably come out for a number of sports.
Before Be a Pro popped up in FIFA it was already present to some extent at least, in the NBA and NFL games. If you look two from EA they generally have the features there that we then see a couple of years later.

I hate Be a Pro, but alot my friends absolutely love it.
Simple way around it really, if you don't like it don't play on it.

Improved AI Improved Servers Make improving a pro harder (specific parts of it ie. pace) More options in Pro Clubs (ratings/no. of players options) Keep pro keepers, no matter what gingerdick says it's fucking awesome Improvements for the ratings systems for defenders and goalkeepers (clean sheet should mean something) Slight improvements to transfer system in manager mode (don't make a club tell me how much they want then when i offer it they ask for £2m more) Make AI managers in be a pro more active in the transfer market, I want them to try and improve the team as well as me improving. I know i can be a player manager but i don't want to do that. Other than general graphical things and more variations in animations there's not much else i don't think. I did a fifa 11 review here where i wrote the improvements i wanted from that. recon-entertainment.com/index.php/reviewspage/playstation-3-reviews/84-fifa-11-review

This.I want to see Man City go nuts and buy 3 top class players every window. I want to see Arsenal buy players from Spain, France etc that I've never heard of, who turn out to be class. The teams just stay the same for season upon seasons.

Fifa games are still really stupid sometimes off the pitch.
In my current Barcelona career 5 Premiership teams have reached the Champions League group stage, which isn't actually possible.

I just scored the perfect goal ever! I was dicking this guy who had an IF Prem team(Ramires, Wilshere, NZogbia), every attack I scored from. I scored my 6th in the 28th minute. My best ever game, highest ever win is 8-0. Hulk knocked it to Adriano, Adriano backheel through ball, Hulk 1 touch to the left about 30 yards out and he smashed it. It was just like KJ's vs Spurs, expect it lobbed the keeper as well as curved top corner. It hit the bar, spun back off the floor about 5 yards into the goal and came back out. Ref gave it(obvs). Waited til end of match save it as it was online. It got everything the 1/2, backheel, Samba celebration. Perfect! Gonna boast about this on the OC, FUT thread and on 1863. I just load it, triangle to upload and the bammmmmm, you have lost your connection.

Yeah I saw that. Not gonna get it though. £45, and the game will be something like £25 on release night, so the £20 will get you a decent amount of packs to start you off. You get 24 packs but its like 4 every month, so it's not really worth it.

Really like the idea of having different commentators depending on whether you're playing in the league or cup.

The game will have many new and improved features such as:
New player impact engine: EA Sports released the video of FIFA 12, demonstrating the new "Impact Engine". This engine improves the collision variety, accuracy and momentum preservation. Tactical defending: All-new Tactical Defending fundamentally changes the approach to defending by placing equal importance on positioning, intercepting passes and tackling.
Precision dribbling: Players can now dribble whilst shielding, meaning you can still move around the pitch whilst holding players off, rather than being rooted to the spot. Close control has been added below jogging as a way of allowing players to take smaller, more frequent touches, keeping the ball closer and keeping tighter control. Players will now be much more aware of their surroundings. As an example, players in possesion near the touchline will understand that they’re there, and keep tighter control of the ball to stop it running out of play.
Localization: FIFA 12 will be the first in the series to be released in Arabic, with Essam El Shawaly and Abdullah Mubarak Al-Harby providing the commentary.
New tactical defending feature. Overhauled Presentation (New Menu, New Camera Angle): FIFA 12 will be featuring an all new menu system, a complete overhaul is in order. The presentation has been brought up several notches, and EA has also included a new camera angle in the game, which is now the default camera angle. Full fledged match build-ups will now also be included.
Pro Player Intelligence: Players will now react to the skills and capabilities of other players with appropriate actions. For example, a winger will be more likely to cross the ball into the box if he has a waiting team-mate with aerial ability like Peter Crouch, whereas he might look for support and play the ball along the ground if that team-mate is less of an aerial threat.

Andy FUCKING Townsend, I may as well sell my PS3 now before that twat causes me to smash it up when I'm pissed off.
As for the game in general, quite a few of the game developers claim in interviews that it will be the biggest and most notable step up since the game went up a generation (PS2 to PS3).
Wish they'd add some more grounds on though, like The Brit!
One thing I'd like to see is home advantage, for example, players attributes increase or decrease depending on whether they are home or away.
