Not even joking the best team on the game is my Bronze Germans. 4-2-3-1 Every player is over 6ft. 6ft5
6ft1 - 6ft5 - 6ft4 - 6ft
6ft3 - 6ft4
6ft - 6ft3 - 6ft2
6ft8
Yes, my striker is 6ft 8. Sakho, he's a tank. So far played 4 games. First game I won 9-0 against an IF Prem team. then won 8-1 then 6-0 then 3-0 but he quit after 40mins.

It was always today for Xbox, tomorrow for PSN as far as I know. Haven't read anywhere about it being delayed for PSN

Played the PES demo earlier, some aspects of it I really hope are on FIFA. Just really simple things like people walking along the touchline behind the advertising boards occasionally, paparazzi moving their cameras etc. Just really simple stuff that make it more realistic.

Got round to playing it just and I'm disappointed massively. Christ above, woefully boring. Spent twenty minutes attempting to even get close to a Marseille side that were happy enough to tippy tappy it around the midfield without coming within 25 yards of goal
The new defending system is good though but it stifles the creativity. In the game I've just played, there were a total of 3 shots from both sides, 1 on target, 1 goal (tap in by me at the far post). Marseille racked up a 94% pass accuracy from happily tippy tappying it around. Just didn't seem to be any pace with it. Everything seemed stuck in 2nd gear
I'll have a few more games later of both PES and FIFA but at the moment, I'm going with PES. Seems more exciting and harder to score in the final third

Give it more of a chance lads, the defending thing isn't so bad once you get used to it, and I bet it's a lot different playing against real people.
I've managed to start scoring now aswell, could defend but couldn't score so ended up drawing 0-0 loads, but winning most games 1 or 2-0 on professional now.

I've given it a chance. Played 10 games, scored twice and conceded zero so either I've mastered the defending exceptionally quick or the opposing AI is just really negative The opposing AI seems to be happy enough to tippy tappy across their midfield and defence and once they come within 25 yards of my goal, they hit a wall and refuse to attempt to carve out a chance. Whether that's down to me defensively positioning my players brilliantly remains to be seen, however, you'd except the smallest of attempts to break through, even if the opposition loses the ball. Shows intent, even if the outcome wasn't what they wanted It takes me around about 20 minutes to even get close to the opposing players. Their just seems to be a forcefield around them when all you want in your player to just show a little bit of muscle, jossle the player a bit before pressing square and getting their foot in. In 9 of the games, the opposition ended up with 70%+ possession and 90%+ passing accuracy due to their negativity and willingness to just tippy tappy around Even once you've got the ball, everything seems to be at a slow, trundling pace regardless of who's on the ball. PenkhullStokie pointed something out to me which I referred to as "PES11 Syndrome" where regardless of who was on the ball, their pace rating and condition, the opposing player would easily catch up. Going even further from that, attacking seems a tedious affair. When attacking and the move is beginning to feel like it needs a change of pace, a change of direction, you'd play the ball to someone with that ability, someone who can change the pace of the game just like that (David Silva and Messi being examples from the demo). However, the game engine just wouldn't allow it to happen because of how slow everything is and the whole process becomes a dull encounter. Quick counter attacks are near impossible as well due to "PES11 Syndrome" and the tempo that's forced upon you Enjoyable? Fun? Inspiring? Far, far from it. Don't get me wrong, it's satisfying when you time a standing or sliding tackle to perfection and win the ball but in the way that completing a 5000 word assignment is satisfying I enjoyed Fifa 10 and 11 because they were both enjoyable games. The games I've had against the flatmates were absolutely phenomenal at times, some would be mental goalfests, others would be tight, tense affairs but that's what made the games streets ahead of the faltering PES series. However, with this new engine, the fun just feels like it's been ripped out

I think it's fucking wank myself. The gameplay seems really, really slow, and the new slide tackles and standing tackles you don't actually win the ball, you boot it away about 20 feet every time. It just seems boring to play, like the gameplay has been slowed down or something, it just seems really boring.
