I think it's fucking wank myself. The gameplay seems really, really slow, and the new slide tackles and standing tackles you don't actually win the ball, you boot it away about 20 feet every time. It just seems boring to play, like the gameplay has been slowed down or something, it just seems really boring. For the first time since we've moved to here, I agree wholeheartedly with you |

I actually enjoy it in the sense that it has made defending really tactical. Quick turns of pace and just sprinting from nowhere work better than running right at your man, holding the left trigger and shooting (whilst initially moving) seems to get some belting shots off from distance.
If you get caught out it is brutal in how it punishes you, but I really like how players make more last ditch efforts to get on the end of balls or are more automatic with their reactions like on FIFA 11 if a ball belted a player in the chest it would jsut sort of ping off, now if you hit it too hard it will be difficult to control but a good player can do a bit more than a worse player. Some of the touches bringing the ball under control are excellent though, I played a long ball over with Barcelona and Messi did something I've not had him do on FIFA before - he just brought it down with the one touch at his feet, no bouncing through to the keeper or spinning away to a defender/keeper. It was completely under his control, a quick skill move to pull it back from the defender a turn, tapped the sprint button to get back more central and rifled a shot in the top corner.
It is slow but I think that is so you can actually use the new defending system, but when I scored that goal it felt better than any I've scored on FIFA for a while.

Played it with my mate last night, very different playing actual people than the computer. It has more potential for moments of magic than FIFA 11, and more potential for well dodgy goals ;D The goalie is way better at saving one on ones  I've missed nearly every single one. |

I'm not going to make big judgements on the game until the real game is out. Never play on anything above Professional on demo's because the matches simply aren't long enough.

You can manage the Youth Academy in career mode now.
They've also brought in deadline day.
Instead of "advancing" a day. On the last day of the window, you have 8 hours left, and each time you advance, it advances an hour.
It showed clubs being more desperate to buy/sell.
Someone was Man City and Juventus bid £10m with 5 hours left. With 4 hours left, £13m and with 2 hours left, £22m.
Also has a totaliser of how much has been spent.
Mega exicted for career mode now.
There's also a 15 year old on the game, plays for Man City. Rekik or something like that, center back and he's 6ft 1.

I'm certain that they can't be finalised ratings, from what I've seen quite a lot of them are way off. Crouch is not as good as Kenwyne at heading, but surely he's a 75. And Begovic is very low for his ability, 76?!?!?! |

There isn't any Donks On FIFA12, Pennant will have 90 pace, Etherington 89 and Jerome 92. ;D ;D We're gonna be fucking immense. Crouch does have only 55 pace though..... |
