Lovely stuff. A cheeky cup run would be ace. We've definitely got a strong enough squad to not have to let it affect our league position, we could have a proper go at this.

a comfortable win, we didn't have to do too much, our passing and movement were too good for them ;D JP and WP very wayward in passing for the first 20 mins, we looked better and more of a threat when Walters and Asaidi? came on

Crouch isn't a lone-striker. He had the kind of game that a lone-striker would have for a shit team, away at Old Trafford, that tried to 'park the bus' but ended up getting tonked 6-0 with about 14% possession - which was quite an achievement in a game that we dominated from start to finish.
I don't think it was his fault though, he's not mobile enough to link attack with midfield and Arnie seemed too disinterested (at times) to do that for him in his free-role (I think he'll piss a section of Stoke fans off) and Ireland looked like he went off the pace as the game went on, which all just further isolated Crouch. We looked a different beast when Walters was knocking heads together in the Rooney Sidibe parts of the pitch when he came on and I think we'd have absolutely tonked them if we'd had his mobility from the off.
PS- Assaidi looked promising again. PPS- The Stoke fans were great. Heard a lot of Tranmere fans praising us around the ground on the way out and a few were applauding us as they left. Sounded like it was a bit of a rarity to have an atmosphere in the away stand.

Cowboy Joe was there, kind of takes the shine off an otherwise fantastic away following.
