I'm not much of a boxing fan, nor do I know much about it, but seeing the bits I have on SSN has given me a hunger to see Froch humiliate this silly little turd.
As such I plan to watch it on Starstreams, I am aware though that these type of events have a stupid amount of build up.
What time should I expect the actual fight to start? Just roughly, I have no interest in the build up

Yes, they've done a good job of hyping it up, cos I confess to not knowing a great deal about who's who at each weight these days, but I'd also like to watch this one. Not that I will as I'm not going to pay for it. Not really sure why but I also want Froch to batter him. bet365 has Groves at a minimum of 66/1 to stop Froch in any one round! Groves fought brilliantly, really proved me wrong. But ah well, it goes in the book as a Froch win and that's all that matters ;D

Wow. Fair play, Groves completely changed my opinion of him. Fought brilliantly, completely out boxed Froch and the very least he deserved was the opportunity to see it through to the end whatever would have happened. It was a World Title fight ffs, let it go.
Got to be a rematch and will be very interesting to see if Froch did take him lightly and not train well enough. Or is Groves actually better then him? Whatever happens it was a great fight and Groves looks like he has a.big future ahead of him.

I'm not into boxing but there was a boxing evening here in the hotel last night in the Olympic suite, Belfast, didn't know anything about it until I went to toilet in the bar area and there were boxers in their shorts n boots, no idea who, probably a local match?

Although I found it difficult to judge whether Groves was cocky or knackered in those later rounds when he had that arms down business. They'll also need to get the re-match in quick because the age thing. Also I saw the chat with Naseem Hamed beforehand, didn't recognise him until he started to talk  |

Lots of comments I've seen say Groves had pretty much gone, his eyes were gone and he almost fell onto the ropes after the stoppage. Haven't seen any of it so can't say if that's true or not.
You don't want to see people put at serious risk of injury but you also want a 'satisfactory' conclusion and this doesn't sound like it was.
Well done Groves for proving a lot of us wrong for much of the fight.
Anyone got any highlights or footage of the ending?

What are peoples thoughts about Froch v Groves? Think it's a step way too far for Groves. I didn't think he'd even beaten De Gale. Still looking forward to it though, can't beat a good domestic scrap. Froch will batter him, there's no one more dangerous than a pissed off Carl Froch looking to prove a point. I'm torn between wanting Froch to embarrass Groves by winning in the 1st Round or completely outboxing him and battering him for 11 Rounds before knocking him out in the 12th. shows what you lads know about boxing.
