Groves looked like he was about to cry at the weigh in yesterday. All I saw was him staring at Froch not saying anything while Froch tried to get a reaction out of him then had to look away as he wasn't getting anywhere. I'd say Froch looked the more nervous by far, as he has done in everything I've seen. Unless you're on about summat that happened after the face off on stage, then ignore me ;D Not much of a fan of Boxing anymore, just doesn't do it for me, but I'll have this on my laptop while I'm watching the Berlin UFC card.

I remember you & Boother coaching me on UFC back on the 'cake years ago. How is it developing still, seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I still haven't watched too much of it, especially now it's on BT sport. Totally agree about them both at the weigh in. I heard a stat earlier that about 80% of rematches end up with the same result as the original bout and the bookies still have Froch as the favourite, I just can't call it!

It would have been me and Uncs probably. Its definitely getting bigger and bigger, there's been a lot of global expansion in the last couple of years, huge deal with Fox in America, EA Sports video game, online Netflix-esque service. There's actually two separate cards tonight, one in Berlin and then one later in Brazil. Add the boxing to that and it's a good night for a fight fan

It was while Froch was getting weighed and Groves was standing around awkwardly. Obviously he wasn't actually about to burst into tears, just had the Nick Clegg-esque look of it!

Is there anywhere to watch it on sky or terrestrial now? I know ch5 show a bit of it. How does it work in terms of titles and belts. Is there one authority or a few like in boxing?

So prediction time. I think if Groves boxes clever, uses his speed and jab and stays out of a war, he'll win on points or by a late knockout, if he gets dragged into a slug fest, Froch will win by stoppage.

I think Channel 5 only shows the UK events, everything else is on BT. But it's very easy to find online, if you know what I mean. The UFC is the main promotion, and fighters fight exclusively for them so any titles they win in other organisations are just vacated when they join the UFC; but in reality the UFC is so much bigger than all the others those titles are largely irrelevant. Weight classes are (in pounds) 265, 205, 185, 170, 155, 145, 135 and 125 for men and 135 and soon to be 115 for women, obviously each has its own Champion.

Froch win I rate.
Don't think Groves was anywhere near as good as people have said in that first fight. He lost his defence plenty of times.
Really buzzing for this

As I've said I don't follow it much and know even less, and I had no clue who Groves was the first time round, but I'm picking him to finish Froch based on staredowns.

Do we have any British champions? And oh makes the fights, do they have to face each other depending on their ranking or do promoters make the fights?

I think maybe I was so shocked at what was happening that I thought he was better then he was, cos I thought he looked brilliant. Could really go either way.

I don't watch as much MMA as I used to, I'll only really watch it if there's a big fight on (middleweight upwards). Not interested in all of these newer lighter weight classes that they introduced, or the women fights, UFC integrating all of those diluted my interest in the sport. I watch a bit of Bellator if it's on mind.
Meaty undercard for Froch v Groves tonight, great night of bocko ahead. Froch has certainly coped better with Groves' awkwardness this time around in the build-up. That 'The Gloves are Off' interview pretty much went completely in Froch's favour and Groves got a bit tied up during the questions, his anxiety inhibitors were kicking in. Froch look composed and unflustered and Groves like a naughty schoolboy, after a serious bollocking sitting in the school corridor trying to put a brave face on.
As for the fight, I think we're going to see the age difference again. I think Groves will be sharper and faster to the punch than Froch and we'll see his wobbly legs again, whether he'll have the balls to go all out to put Froch away is another matter. Can't see Groves being sloppy enough to let Froch get back into the fight if they're in that position again.
Excited for it all anyway.

I think if Groves boxes clever, uses his speed and jab and stays out of a war, he'll win on points or by a late knockout, if he gets dragged into a slug fest, Froch will win by stoppage. Yes I agree, if Froch is as bad as he was in the first half of the last fight, Groves just needs to stay out of trouble for the last half and coast it winning the odd round here and there to win on points. If he fails to stop Froch in the first half of the fight then carries on trying to stop him he'll get stopped himself. The highlights package I saw he was way the better boxer for the first half of the fight and would have won if he'd used his noggin to avoid being tagged for the last six rounds. But that's his failing regularly apparently, he wants a dust up rather than boxing clever and it could be his undoing again. I admired Groves performance in the first fight but for reasons I've not yet fathomed I really want Froch to twat the bloke. Probably just cos he's a Londoner and by and large they're all Southern cunts and Arsenal fans in my twisted worldview so fuck you Groves I hope you get knocked out ;D Btw I take it there's a stream for this?

Despite winning me over somewhat with the first one Groves is still coming across as a complete cockend so Go Froch.
Also the yank commentator (Pauly??) sounds like the fucking Penguin.
I just wish Joshua could face some proper opposition, 83 seconds and done? God damn.

I'm look forward to this! Not often I look forward to a boxing fight.
Reckon Froch will win it (hopefully). Froch was complacent the first fight and won't make the same mistake.
Groves weird fake smile in the weigh-in reeked of anxiety.
