I don't watch as much MMA as I used to, I'll only really watch it if there's a big fight on (middleweight upwards). Not interested in all of these newer lighter weight classes that they introduced, or the women fights, UFC integrating all of those diluted my interest in the sport. I watch a bit of Bellator if it's on mind. How did more fights turn you off it? Never heard anyone say that, especially only watching middleweight up; I don't want to imagine a world without BJ Penn or the Diaz Brothers ;D |

Quite enjoyed the fight I have to say, although after so many years of MMA watching any boxing feels a bit like drinking a diet coke.

Fair play, with a punch like that you can beat anyone, just as Groves was getting on top as well. They were always going to both be way more cautious than in the first fight and it was building nicely,,but what a punch!

So on reflection a great night of boxing and chuffed that Froch gets to keep his legacy in tact. Still can't believe the knobheads who booed him both after the first fight and then in the build up to this one. He's a 12 time world champ, deserves way more respect then that. Loved the sportsmanship after as well and fair play to Groves for this tweet after! 'Haven't watched it back properly yet but I think... I got knocked the fuck out!  ?? #Rematch lol ?' |

Don't watch boxing but thought that was ace. The tactical side of it I found fascinating. I've watched a few guys that are really into boxing training down the gym a few times and it's a completely different level of fitness, fucking unreal amount of exertion. I realise every fight isn't going to be as bigger spectacle as that, but I think I'm converted.

Me yeah. Up for work at 6 tomorrow anyway, may as well get up a few hours earlier. Massive fight for British bocko, I'm surprised at the lack of interest/coverage it's getting. If he wins here though, he'll be as much of a household name here as Kahn and Hatton. I think if both Brook and Porter are switched on 100%, then Brook takes it on points because he's got the tools to keep Porter at bay. I've got a funny feeling that the occasion could be a bit too much for him though, lapse in concentration and Porter will hurt him. Looking forward to it. Deontay Wilder on the undercard n'all, which'd be worth a watch, don't care about the others. |

Brook is the new world champion! Decision: 114-114 UK judge draws it, US judges 117-111 116-112. Awful fight, but thankfully for boxing Kel got it.
