People always go on about Brass Eye.
I've never seen it except for maybe the Paedo one, but I'm not certain.
Is it the tits?

For what it was it was good, but with all of these type shows, its a bit of a one trick pony and once youve seen the trick, then, well, thats it really....

Chris Morris is a fucking legend.
I've still got and listen to all of his mid 90s 1FM shows including the ones where he got taken off air for saying Jimmy Savile was dead but the patients of Stoke Mandeville were not happy cos he hadn't suffered enough like he'd made them suffer.
And where he interviewed Edwina Currie on some spurious pretence just to say she'd slept with half the Cabinet.
He also outed Michael Portillo years before anyone else.
He knew precisely what was going on did Morris and wasn't too scared to say it either!
Add into that some random shit like phoning up some American bint to tell her there was a terrestrial dolphin on the loose or asking a vet how to get a tortoise back into its shell and it was all good stuff.

Could be funny but there is no bloody context!!

The context is that as a very young child, most likely within hours of his birth, he was given the name "Arse" by his parents, Mr and Mrs Biscuites.
Our hero, Arse, left school as a fresh-faced 18 year old and embarked on a career in the armed forces. He was pretty good at it and as the years progressed, so did his rank. Finally, in the proudest moment of his working life, he was awarded the honour, nay, the priviledge of becoming a general. As such an important figure he often appeared on television, sometimes on sports-based comedy panel shows, but generally the news - a programme which aims to inform the populus of recent events that may interest or affect them in some way. The news often contains such information about war or combat, which the army is usually directly involved in. To help viewers understand a person's role in events, the news often shows an individual's name whilst they are talking. This was the case on the fateful day during BFM TV's 15:00 news programme, leading to the amusing, yet difficult to decipher, screenshot we see before us.

Surely he was a 'Rear Admiral' at some point?

The name general arse biscuit does not need a context to become funny; it's like a fart, just always funny.

Yes, but the question is was the banner real, in which case it is very funny indeed, or was it just photoshopped onto a screen grab, in which case it wasnt that funny as anyone can take a screengrab and ps something under it. Like the "Isaac Menoff" clip which may have been real or the Mike Littoris clip which definately was real, and hilarious.
