The East Coast has had it the worst though.

See Hull, without the main tidal barrier around 28000 homes would be under water and the town centre flooded far worse than what it is now. And they're due to have another tidal surge in the morning at around 8am. |

Got back into Sheffield at about midday today, nothing running any further North or East than Sheffield station. Hopefully everything'll still be relatively ok for the trip back to Stoke tomorrow.

It was gay, I think I've played cricket on windier days. Still it was fun filling buckets of water and getting all my survival gear ready just incase. Oh, the top blew off the wheely bin but I just went out and closed it again. Next doors gate blew off. Coincidentally enough, 13 years ago, I wouldnt have minded next doors wife blowing me off, but she's really let herself go.
