New series on c4 starting on Sunday, should be good. Good job you mentioned that, I thought it was new year. Quality series last time. His stuff needs to be shown as extended versions in schools.

Guy Martin is a diamond. He lives just down the road from me. Loved his programme where he helped to build a Spitfire. Can't understand why he has struggled a bit on the Isle of Man TT. He's like a modern day Fred Dibnah ;D

I watched video of him commentating on one of his TT races, the blokes absolutely fascinating and him talking about his approach to different corners at 150mph was just crazy.
Started to watch the Spitfire programme but nodded off.Was good mind, I was just knackered at the time.

Watching the TT this year it seemed that Guy was wringing all he could out of his Suzuki but it just wasn't up to the mark. I fail to understand how BMW can enter bikes that are 50cc over the rest. I'd love to see him going for the TT on a Honda.

I did any of you catch the barge series GE did a few years back that was good, very Dibnah-esque; I loved Dibnah too, proper top bloke... A good advert for common sense H&S too.

Is this bloke a real person?
I was under the impression that he was some sort of comedy character like say, Dennis Pennis or Danny Dyer.

I know who Fred Dibnah is you berk. I was on about this Guy Martin chap - I've caught the odd couple of minutes of his programmes and just assumed it was character comedy.

Guy Martin is indeed a very real person, a truck engineer by trade, a very good +500cc road bike racer and more recently a TV personality. If you've never seen him before, here he is, somewhere behind that motorbike.

That 24hr tandem cycling record was a piece of piss.
They took so many breaks, they could've fucked off down the pub, come back shitfaced and still smashed it.
Fucking lightweights - get drunk next time.

Was quite good but would like to see them have a try in good weather and fewer stops, they could theoretically do 700 miles in a day. That'd be an achievement in a fucking car nevermind on a bike!
Next weeks looks good.

Didn't bother with the cycling one. As soon as I heard the word cycles I started to lose the will to live. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch anything involving bikes without engines.

You'll enjoy next weeks sausage, he builds his own hill climb motorbike then tries to blast it up a mountain climb. linky
