Unbeaten at home. Lost their last 3 in all competitions.
Jizz out of 10 if we got something here, but they can't afford any more slip ups if they still have title hopes.
Tea time kick off on Sky.
Goarnnnn Stoke

One thing for sure is they are going to be straight at us from the start. If we can hit them on the break and sneak an early goal it could be very interesting. Unfortunately I am in dreamland and I'm sure we are going to be on the end of a 3 or 4 goal beating

A good time to play them but they still drip quality.
I'd like to see their Vs our striker stats for this season / year though.

We really need to get up and support Crouch here, or we could be in for a long one

I had a dream about this match last night, it was an omen, no doubt about it.
We went into an early 2-0 lead through an Arnautovic cross that looped in (he could have meant it) and Shawcross bursting forward, his shot hit the post but came out to somebody who poked in, think it might have been another Shawcross. They made it 3 while I was at the barbers and 4-1 when I checked with minutes to spare, Kenwyne Nils getting what looked like a consolation goal... until Jeff Stelling announced some late drama at the KC Stadium and Cardiff had beaten us 4-3 in dramatic scenes!
Think I'm going to have a couple of quid on us going 4-1 up against Chelsea but losing 4-3 to Cardiff late on, with Shawcross or Shawcross anytime. Just got a feeling about this.

I don't know if I miss the tension of wanting Stoke to win and the joy of it coming true when it really matters, or if I enjoy the pure relief of knowing we are safe from danger and playing well and today's result is irrelevant?

I'm definitely loving the fact that it doesn't really matter today and we can go there and have a right good go hopefully.

Today is far from irrelevant. We're got to catch those fuckwit Geordie bastards. Oh and I thought Lampard was playing, not Luiz?

I'm quite happy finishing 10th. Since we came up seems like every team of a similar size to us which finishes 9th one year has a stinker of a season the year after. 08/09 West Ham 9th, next year 17th 09/10 Blues 9th, next year REL 10/11 Villa 9th, next year 16th 11/12 Fulham 9th, next year 12th 12/13 Swansea 9th, next year 15th and falling 9th is cursed I tell thee, cursed wooooooooooooooohh

No Walters in the starting line-up. Palacios was great against Aston Villa but slightly dodgy when he came on against Hull. He needs to be on top form today.
Goaaarrrn Stoke etc.
