There's a demo gone up on the PS4 store called P.T. supposedly a glimpse into what Metal Gear Solid creator Hideous Kojima and Del Toronto are brewing up for their take on Silent Hill.

This makes The Last of Us and Outlast feel like a trip to Aston Towers on a sunny day. Trying to play it now with the lights off with headphones, it's utterly fucking horrible. Been back to it twice and had to turn it off after 3 and a half minutes. Judging from the comments online things seem to happen at random which makes things worse. I feel this has got VR written all over it, in which case someone's going to die whilst playing this.

Worth watching a Let's Play if you can find one without any commentary.

Fingers crossed that anybody that uploads a Let's Play with commentary (featuring them pulling a silly face on the thumbnail) dies in their sleep tonight.

I haven't looked at that clip yet.

When I saw what Lew wrote in the first post I just thought 'what a fucking fanny!'

So last night, me and my lady friend put it on, turned off the lights, turned up the sound bar and played it in pitch black (apart from the screen), i even did the brightness level properly at the start to play fair.

Fuck me it's quality, properly messes with your head. We played for about 15/20 minutes, managing about 5 'circuits' and then decided we should turn it off and watch something a bit lighter on TV before we go to sleep.

I'm attempting to avoid any spoilers and will have another bash tonight, highly recommend!

There are a few moments on that video that gave me a chill. 8 minutes in when he's focusing on the radio, it gives out a code, carries on the news report and then says "look behind you. I said, look behind you."

I'd have probably burst into tears and turned it off there.

We had a few lads and their ladies round on Saturday, gave the pad over, turned the lights off, sound up. Fucking hell, even with 6 people in the room, it's a proper head fuck. We all jumped a bastard mile a few times. Best way to describe this is an interactive trailer and a brief taste of what's to come.

If they can recreate the same psychological fucked up-ness that was present in Silent Hill 2, this will be one of the best survival games ever. The first time I played the radio was on, lights were flickering and there were some vile noises going on. The second time there was none of that which is brilliant because once you've seen a film or played a game more than once, you know what's coming.

I scare really easily in games so don't play much horror but this looks amazing.
