Im not his biggest fan and not on a witch hunt against him but i don't think Arnie would have been up for that today.
Great management really. Shows he's not afraid to take big decisions and shows the whole squad he's not afraid to make changes if we're not performing at the right level for whatever reason. This is where the strength of having a really strong squad in all areas pays off.
Well said, reminds me of when we won away at Spurs a few seasons back, felt like we'd arrived as a team that should be taken seriously and this feels the same.
26% possessions must be one of our lowest ever in the Premier League.
Hopefully the final nail in the coffin of these pointless possession statistics. I've always thought they were completely irrelevant. It matters not that you can pass the ball around the back four and midfield ad infinitum. What really matters is the tiny percentage of time you're in a position to hurt your opponent and what you do in those few seconds. Take a bow, Mama Biram Diouf!
But it was something the dicks on the OC used to blether on and on and on about to have a go at Pulis. Fucking arseholes.
Off for another beer and to watch MoTD and fucking celebrate again ;D
As said above, seem a decent bunch on the Citeh forum. This one tickled me, though...
Stoke parked the bus and we weren't able to break them down, annoying but sometimes that's what happens when you play teams with no ambition.
Text message conversation between myself and a Citeh season ticket holder I went Uni with:
AJ: You prepared for a big beating today then mate?? Haha
Me: (I hadn't seen this until we'd scored because I'd been fielding at cricket) Only just come off the field, playing cricket, how's that beating going?
Me: (After no reply) So, about that beating..
AJ: 10 men behind the ball all game, I'm sure that's very enjoyable to watch.
Me: It is when you win.
AJ: Hardly, Joe Hart should have saved your goal as well, awful.. oh well, at least we're not United haha.
To be fair, it's easy to be proper titsed off after an unexpected defeat and him and all the Citeh supporting mates I've made at Uni were very positive towards what Pulis did. They also rated Hughes and credit him for creating the spine that's won them two titles and an FA Cup.
