Jimmy Milner - that much of a utility player that he's allowed to play spider fucking goalkeeper...

Bloody harsh result on us. Never deserved to lose 4-1 and they didn't deserve to win by it either.
Thought the Diouf penalty/Man City red card was absolutely stonewall and the ref bottled it yet again.
N'Zonzi was ace today.

We were very good first half, woeful defensively second half though.

We were fantastic in the first half, shame that in the second half we never really got to grips with the movement of the Manchester City forward players. An incident packed game, I need to watch the highlights closely before deciding whether Lee Mason is 'another shit ref'.
Blackburn away in the cup is a more important game for us than tonight, so not too pissed off.

I was quite amused at Lampard getting stick off some Smong (Stoke Mong) for ages whilst warming up, then just on cue they scored, to Franks delight.
Mong based Karma at it's finest.

Very flattering result for Man City and had we been able to field our full strength 11 I seriously think we would have been out of sight by half time. It's a shame we couldn't capitalise on a very shaky Joe Hart and Mangala and had we scored first when we were well on top we might still have gone on to win. If anything the game highlighted our squads lack of real quality in depth.
Positives were Moses showing much better (finishing apart) and Arnies quality in crossing the ball. Begovic was also back on form although the scoreline would not suggest such. Bardsley was shocking in allowing Aguero to finish from that angle and the general defending at times was comical.
I only hope MH is using regular contact with Bojan whilst he's in Barcelona to facilitate a couple more players to follow him to the Brit. We are seriously missing the influence of Ryan at the centre of defence and the sooner he's back the better.

"From that angle" suggests it's a hell of good strike (which it was) and, if anything, you'd look at the goalkeeper if he's been beaten at a tight angle but even then it wasn't Begovic's fault. Just a great strike from probably the best out-and-out striker in the world.

Meh, you win some, you lose some. They were a scary prospect once they got their shit together. Add that with the squad that's limping a long. That goal from Aguero had everything. Strength, pace, composure and a clinical finish. Reminded me of Ric.

Noticed Shenton came on and whilst trawling found this. Nice touch from Frank Lampard. Not seen it before. link
