Wow. I've never been to Morecambe before. I might go and then stay the night in a crappy b&b.

I'm not sure where Morcambe is but guess is in the North because of the draw. Is it near Scotland?

I'm not sure where Morcambe is but guess is in the North because of the draw. Is it near Scotland? yes, in between Blackpool and Carlisle, next to the nucleur power station so it's always lovely and warm, they call it the cumbrian riviera, Ernie wise is famous there. just to confuse you, the nicest hotel is called the Midland hotel

Sounds a paradise. Could be at home though yet.
Remember coming out of Bradford once and it seriously kicked off outside. Turned out was just Asian youths from the estate fighting each other, nothing to do with the match. I think the Guptas had nicked the Khan's secret Dupiaza recipe and they were taking sauce based retribution

Can't find my English lakes relish card but looks a tres de-lish place for a food soiree of sorts. A bit of foie gras before the match would go down a treat

Might be a bit of a wait for the game. Bring sandwiches and a thermos

Time4aPINT's handy guide to the Paint Glass Trophy thing.
This years competition is sponsored by checkatrade.com and has the snappy title of The Checkatrade Trophy
Fans from some League One and Two clubs planning to boycott these games as a protest at the Academy teams being allowed entry.
The group stages have a funky scoring system, it's the usual three points for a win and fuck all for a defeat but if it's a draw both teams get a point but they also have a penalty shoot-out. The winners of the shoot-out get a bonus point.
It's going to be really wank.
Stoke's fixtures are: Bradford v Stoke U23 tonight at 19:45, Morecambe v Stoke U23 October 4th at 19:45 and our glamorous home tie against the mighty Bury on Tuesday 8th November, 19:45 kick off (all fixtures subject to change, so don't be a cunt and sue me).
Cannot be arsed to find out the date for the final but it is at Wembley in April sometime.
Women's tits are ace.

That is just embarrassing. Pulis out! This is a perfect opportunity for Big John Gayle to come out of retirement.

Didn't John Gayle score a wonder-goal for Stoke in an Anglo Italian match once?
