Have commented on the other board but, once again, RIP Winger. Talented man and a genuinely funny bloke. One of those posters who you looked out for.

What awful, sad news. Going to Norwich I met him and he took me to 2 Stoke games. He was funny, friendly, helpful and kind and he always refused to accept any petrol money despite me insisting. Actually gutted, was looking forward to meeting up with him for a few games next season. Thoughts are with Jack his son, Trezza his partner and Graham and Matt who went to all the games with him.

This is 'She stood there laughing?' Stephen Foster? What happened, as I didn't think he was that old? RIP

Dad text me before early this morning, gutted. Top bloke and a true gent whenever I spoke with him. A true tragedy, he will be missed by all of the oatcake and the old guard. Thoughts go to his son and partner, must be horrible
