I don't blame him, you just know that they asked in a rude and arrogant way, I would say that about half of the random encounters I've had with the forces of lawn and order have involved that sneery "did you know.." voice. That being said, the armed police that called to the house the other week as part of the siege were very nice, and were nice enough not to shoot my house mate, even though he probably deserved it.
