As bad as relegation will be, and we all know it's happening now😢
What positives can you take from life away from the elite? Some good old fashioned competitive games unlike Man City Liverpool spurs and so on.. lot more games that can be classed as local rivalries. Atmosphere could return to something to get you pumped again. We will soon return to the hardcore fans, plus an extra few thousand. A lot of 3pm Saturday kick off games

I’m genuinely excited about not being in this shit league next season. The embarrassment of the actual relegation is a sickener but it’ll be good to visit some new grounds and actually competenin some games next year!
The lack of TV/streams will be a shock though, and the prize of doing well is promotion back into the “shit league” I’ve come to hate!

Leeds, Forest, 2 sheffield clubs, maybe Derby, Wigan, Blackburn, (brum if they stay up) are all good for large away followings home and away, Shrewsburys new ground, what can we say about Millwall, WBA should be back to being our bogey team ... Preston a quick trip up the M6 and a good away end, Brizzle City a refurbed ground.
Bad points - QPR, Norwich, Ipswich

From a footballing point of view, a brief (emphasis on brief) sojourn into the Championship isn't exactly the end of the world: hopefully more excitement than the last two years (winning some actual games) and re-visiting some of English football's genuinely great grounds (I have a stiffy at the thought of two away days in Sheffield). I think home attendances won't suffer too much initially, and we'll see some big away followings coming to the Brit as well.
Behind the scenes, my fingers are crossed that some serious changes take place, including the replacement of Lambert. If we go into a Championship season as badly prepared and ham-fistedly as we've gone into this season, we will struggle. Unfortunately, I think we will end up doing things on the cheap again and it may be a good while before we bounce back or even see some good times again.
Shit for those who will lose their jobs through no fault of their own and the economy/profile of the local area, which does benefit from the exposure having a Premiership team brings.

None.
Fucking disaster for Stoke on Trent, we'll just be perceived as some shithouse gathering of towns that no-one gives a fuck about. PL football gives the area credibility and a huge financial boost for the local economy.

Agree with Jonesey, wonder what players we will be left with, not bothered about most of em bar Shaq and Butland, hope we hold onto Crouchie. No idea if Lambert is the man to steady the ship

It’s going to be a grim day/few days once we fare confirmed down and the huge amount of people who hate Stoke City FC stick the boot in. I’ll be off all forms of social media for a good week.
As alluded to above, the biggest shame is for the city itself and the people directly impacted by relegation.
Lambert is guaranteed to be given a go next season. Dull.

No idea if Lambert is the man to steady the ship From what I've seen so far, if he had a bit more time (only talking another 4-6 weeks) and a goalscorer, we'd end up in the PL next season. Too little too late I'm afraid.

This is just bad. I will not be able to watch almost any games I bet. Box scores on bbc live stats.

Obviously it’s dependent on who stays and who goes but I’m straight down the middle 50/50 unsure if we’ll have a really solid championship squad or a complete disaster given what we have at the moment

Sunderland are relegated to League One, so we don’t have to play those plucky fuckers. I hate them and I’m over the moon. They lost 2-1 at home to Burton...who were 1-0 down with 10 minutes to go...

Positives in no particular order....
More chance of getting tickets to away games.
Less dicking about with the fixtures by Sky and BT sport.
More chance of being able to get time off work when the TV companies do dick about with kick off times etc.
No smug, smart arsed patronising comments on Match of the Day from Gary Lineker.
Smaller crowds will mean a quicker walk to the pub after the final whistle.
We might win a few games.
Could be easier to bring a few Academy players into the first team with The Championship not being quite as big a step up as the Premier league.
Hopefully less cheating shitbags like Danny Rose, Dele Ali, half the Arsenal team etc.
Maybe the FA Cup will regain some of it's glamour and excitement as it wont be overshadowed by our next Permier league fixture.
No Mike Dean or Martin Atkinson in the championship.
We get a localish derby against West Brom.
We get to visit a few grounds that we haven't been for a while. Blackburn, Leeds, both Sheffield clubs, Forest, Birmingham, Bolton, Preston etc. should be good away days.
The pies are probably cheaper at Championship grounds.
I think Peter Coates has finally realised we are dogshit and changes need to be made.
