And Nixon on Twitter says were going all in for Matt Ritchie with a big contract offer. I hope it's true.

Fuck knows what's going on with the Ritchie deal. Apparently Newcastle have now rejected the offer?
I don;t think I'd offer anymore than £15m given his age, although I'd love him here. Hopefully it's more a case of we won't sell until we find a replacement, although everything else suggests they NEED to sell to fund a replacement...

Shaqiri to Liverpool confirmed.
Swiss press saying £13.75m. He's worth significantly more but I'm happy to get what we have given some of thebrumours of his release clause.
I really hope we spend it on Matt Ritchie. I think we will.

Chester is a solid signing.
Ince has had a couple of decent seasons in the championship but I don't rare him at all, although Rowett has worked with him before.
McLean is ok in a pool of 3-4 wingers but hardly inspiring.
I'm gutted we're backing down from the Ritchie deal, although I can see why...and I still have a little bit of hope we might go back is if Choupo leaves and Palace/Newcastle get some fucking deals made.

McClean played his best football for ROI in the WC cup qualifiers inc winners in Austria and Wales...one of those players for me who should do better than he produces sometimes for his clubs. Certain got ability and a decent signing. Chester a real good CB at this level. We actually have a really tidy side coming together, certainly best on paper in the league.
