Before the tournament started I expected England to get through the group and go out in the last 16 or maybe scrape through into the quarter finals.
I guess Southgate and the players have exceeded expectations by reaching the semi-finals. There is now a connection between the players and our nation again.
Pickford is abit chavvy but he was outstanding in goal. Players like Maguire are a credit to England and the whole team did their best. No arrogance that we have come to expect from England players. I.'ve even started to like Deli Alli and Ashley Young a tiny bit.
Jesse Lingard might be a bit of a childish dick with his dabs and dances but I'd sooner cheer a team on with him in it than a team with wankers like John Terry and Wayne Rooney.
Trippier and Kyle Walker have the potential to become genuinely world class players.
We should play Danny Welbeck in the third place match on Saturday just for a laugh.

Not sure Southgate is the best manager ever, thought his subs aren't always the best but he is a fucking massive improvement on the likes of Sven Goran Ericsson, Cappello, fucking owl face, fat Sam and that bloody weird cunt - Glenn Hoddle.

Agree about SOuthgate, thought his tactics after the first half were quite poor, no game management, no plan B, subs were like for like, Id like to have seen RLC and Delph come in that second half to combat their midfield and get some fit legs in, taking off Linguard and Alli and leaving Sterling on for when the game got stretched. |

Agree sterling was the key, Ali didn't have a great tournament in my view. Better effort than usual though
