The games are coming fast but it seems ages since our last home game in the league. Quite looking forward to this one. We need to cut out the carelessness and carry on the good things from the weekend. If we can do that then three lovely points should be ours.
Match live on Sky for those who cannot make it.

We need a win even if it’s against a group on 12 year olds

No changes from last Saturday's team against Sheffield Wednesday. Not too unhappy with that.

Miles offside. Excellent. UTFP. Didn't even celebrate at first because I was convinced the linesman would raise his flag. Wasn't a great performance apart from a few five minute spells. Having said that we should have had more goals. We must stop missing sitters. It was a very moist walk home as it was bloody pissing it down but not even arsed that my coat is dripping onto the carpet and my Stoke top is so wet that it is completely stuck to me and I can't take the bloody thing off. It doesn't matter though because WE WON!

I know Erik gets a hammering but from my humble Sky opinion, so often he was our main attacking outlet when everyone else looked static. We were so slow going forward but when Berro came on and we played a high press we looked a different team. Tom Ince however is shit

I'm now wrapped in a massive white fluffy towel that I stole from a hotel. All nice and dry.
I thought Berahino brought our attack to life when he came on. Hope he gets to start in the next game. We really need a few wins in a row to give the players more confidence but also give us supporters more belief in the manager and team because the atmosphere is dogshit at the moment.

The commentator was chuffing on about the toxic dressing room of last season and the trouble makers being shipped out. Whats all that about then?

The commentator was chuffing on about the toxic dressing room of last season and the trouble makers being shipped out. Whats all that about then? When Lambert was in charge he wanted the team to get the ball to Shaqiri at every opportunity. Charlie Adam and maybe other big headed players didn't like this. Then there were bellends like Jese in the dressing room. Shaqiri and Butland to name just two were spitting their dummies out on the pitch regularly, so I hate to think what was being said behind closed doors. Other things that contributed to a toxic atmosphere in the dressing room could have been polution from the incinerator and Kevin Wimmer's flatulence. If only the club instead of smashing our transfer fee record had spent the Gianni Imbula transfer money on an extractor fan and some pot pouri for the dressing room to improve the atmosphere then maybe we would still be a Premier league team.
