Let's stuff the sheepshaggers and get some points on the board.

The sun is out and there appears to be a positive vibe around Stoke today. All the pubs are busy which bodes well for a loud atmosphere at the match. Just hope the positivity remains and we don't get dickheads booing after the first miss hit pass.
Really looking forward to this today....

Not the sexiest looking line up but should be enough attacking threat to get a goal or two...

Decent performance but we must take our chances. For most of the match we dominated and played well enough to win. We've hit the woodwork 5 times in the last three matches now. Still we are improving with each game and the atmosphere was much better today. All is well!

How does Joe Allen not score here.

Well, we're certainly more entertaining to watch these days!
It was so disappointing to go a goal down again but I thought we attacked with real intensity for long spells: having Woods always available and ready to recycle the ball on the halfway line allowed us to keep the pressure up on Derby effectively, although we got countered a few times and Butland got us out of jail when he saved from Waghorn 1 on 1.
The tackle by Jozefzoon on Ince was a shocker, right below where I sit, and should have been a straight red but both the ref and the linesman were unsighted. I thought we lost our heads a little bit after the melee which contributed to us giving the penalty away.
Thought McClean did well, especially in the second half and his attacking intent helped to pin Derby back. Gregory and Hogan look like to be forming a good understanding (how long since we had an effective front 2 combination? Fuller and Sidibe?)
Allen is getting a fair bit of stick in the echo chamber that is 'the other place' (some of it a bit OTT, IMO) but if Etebo is fit and au fait with the role Nath wants him to play I would definitely consider swapping Joe out for him for the Leeds game, as he's currently the weak point of the midfield in terms of effective pressing and positional play.

How does Joe Allen not score here. Fook knows, but he needs a rest, allowed the cross for the 1st goal to come in too easy
