I normally hate it when people go on about 'must win' games but this is as near as we will get to a must win game. Three points should see us take a huge step towards safety, a draw won't be much help and defeat could put us right in the shit.

Results went for us today. Charlton, Hull and Middlesbrough all lose and Barnsley v Wigan ended in a 0-0 draw. We just need to not be rubbish tomorrow and all will be well(ish).  |

2-0 at half time but James Chester has just tried his best to score an own goal when he would have been better leaving it to the keeper. Maybe he is too used to having Butland in goal who stays stuck on his goal line instead of dealing with the danger.
Played well first half but need to concentrate and not gift anything to Birmingham. We are a threat going forward and our midfield are on top. Davies looks decent so far in goal and I've been impressed with Danny Batth and also Tommy Smith has done some good work defensively. Jimmy Mac unlucky not to score with a few attempts. Still think we need at least another goal to make the game more comfortable to watch.

If all the chances from the first half had gone in it would be about 8-3 to Stoke but they didn't which is why it is 2-0 to the mighty Potters.

Very professional second half. Birmingham started it brightly with better possession than us but we were equal to their attacks. We probably finished the game the better team. I imagine the last 20 minutes was quite dull for any neutrals watching but bollocks to them we did exactly what we needed to do.
