Jacob Brown makes it 1-0 to Stoke. Four mins and injury time left to survive.

Final score: Wolfie Dingles 0 Mighty Potters 1
Lovely stuff. Not an exciting game for the neutral. Maybe it was a good choice not to choose it for the tv match.
Stoke were probably the better team in the second half and nice to see new signing Jacob Brown score his first goal for the club.
Wolves had a few opportunities but they were slow and pedestrian in their build up so fuck 'em. They got what they deserved- Nothing!

I enjoyed watching that. It wasn't action packed but Stoke were solid in defence and Wolves for all their talented players on the pitch didn't cause us Potters much trouble, the best team won.

Gillingham in round three and if we can beat them wankers we are away to Bristol City or Aston Villa.

Gillingham at home tonight. 7pm kick off.
Bloody hate Gillingham. I really hope we put in a good professional performance against these tossers.

Missed our glorious 1-0 victory due to being at work but from the match reports I've read we fully deserved our win and only bad luck and good goalkeeping prevented us scoring more. Oh yes!
Super Sammy Vokes with a cracking header makes it 1-0....
Fairly even so far but I think we are worthy of our lead.

Villa missed a couple of very good chances but apart from that an excellent first half. We had chances to score more than just the one goal.

Not so super Sammy Vokes there. He should have buried that header.

When did we last have a cup run as a second flight team as good??

Last cup run was when we got to the semifinals before losing on Penalties to bloody Liverpool.
Last cup run as a championship/second division side was probably the late 1950's. Unless you want to count the Autoglass Trophy.
