Met Bobby Ball once. Canon and Ball were appearing in Pantomime up Hanley. At the end of a night out a few of us were having a curry and he was in the curry house saying hello and shaking hands with every one. I didn't recognize him at first and assumed he was just some random mental bloke but when he spoke it clicked in as to who he was so fortunately I didn't tell him to fuck off.

Anyhow rest in peace Bobby.
