I will never take our status for granted but reflecting on the last season and the result yesterday, I think we've properly made it into an established Premier League team. Add a few signings and it'll only consolidate the fact.

Edit- I thought the squatting was because of constant breakdowns, seeing his 50million striker constantly get dispossessed by lowly Stoke.

He's right though, it is hard playing at Stoke. I was surprised at how many thought there was a lack of atmosphere. I thought it was a bit evil at times, just as it should be. Lampard got it, Terry got it, Cole got it and Torres got his share too. I thought it was much more hostile yesterday. It was a pisser when Lampard got booked, he must've felt like a right spong having 25,000 cheering his petulant booking.

I thought that Torres was rattled as well given the amount of flouncing he was doing. While they're rattled then surely they're not playing to the best of their ability. The other thing is that if opposition managers are prepared to go on TV and tell the world how difficult it is to come to Stoke then the Stoke players must get confidence from that.

I was listening to Talk Shite whilst reading the Sentinel yesterday. This AVB geezer is complaining about Stoke and all the shirt pulling we do. I turn the page to see a wonderful picture from the match in which John Terry is clearly tugging at Ryans shirt so he cant get a header in ;D
Let em moan and say what they want, it only makes us more determined and draws fans and team closer together. Yes its a hard place to come and comments like his just make it harder next time they come
