Would have been happy with 2-2 before kick off but the win would have been orgasmic.
Sounds like we played very well. If we can keep that up then we still have a chance of sneaking into the playoffs.

Played well, how good is Baker, we need a couple more like him in the summer.
Shame we couldn't hang on for 3 points, anything but 2 wins the next 2 home games and the play offs will be out of sight I think.

Hoping these storms go away by Saturday, it's windy at our place on a still day. The outside bar marquee at the cricket club could end up in Blurton. Hopefully a lot less windy but a chance of heavy snow in the morning. Hope the orange balls are pumped up. |

It pissed it down all night but when I went to the pub for afternoon beer earlier the weather was fairly windy and a bit drizzly but not too bad.

The walk to and from the pub was windy and drizzly. There was no drizzle and fortunately no wind in the pub.

My Mrs had originally wanted a lift to Stoke Town centre for 2pm, was going to meet her friends for afternoon tea at the white café or something like that, about 100 yards from the Glebe where the shuttle buses go from, bad idea with brum in town I said (but worried really I'd miss my pre match beers at the cricket club) she's going to one of them in Birches Head at 1 now 😀
