Benik Afobe looks like he is off to Club Brugge. Gets him off the wage bill but not sure if we will get a fee for him. Looks like the deal is off. So we are still stuck with him for the time being. |

I'm not really on the ball with this season's transfer window. Yesterday defender Harry Clarke signed on a season long loan from Arsenal. He had previously been on loan at Hibernian. Also Alfie Dougherty has left Stoke to sign for Nathan Godwilling Jones's Luton Town for an undisclosed fee. Probably no great loss. He is a player with skill, pace and promise but maybe tries too hard. He often attempted to beat three men and lose possession instead of passing the ball. And always tore his hamstrings |

Since the start of January we have got rid of Batth Davies Surridge Ince
Fletcher Smith Vrancic Doughty Allen TOB Afobe
And the loanees, JPB, Moore, THB, Sima, Maja, Sawyers, have gone back.
Will be a different looking squad.
No excuses for MON this time

Probably good that Tashen Oakley Boothe is on that list. Gone on a season long loan to Lincoln.
He could prove to be a good player in the future. Maybe the loan is what he needs.

More good news as Emre Tezgel who made his first team debut aged 16 last season becomeing our youngest ever player. He has been linked with a move to Dirty Leeds United but has signed as a scholar and has agreed a professional contract with Stoke to start in September when he turns 17.
