Here's hoping 2023 will see the players step up and score more than the opposition on more occasions.

Was at work earlier. Finished at 1.30pm and been to the oatcake and beer boats. Now in the ground 30 minutes early and rumour has it kick off has been delayed by 15 minutes. Don't know why...
Will I look like a total dick if I have a sleep for 20 minutes? Hmmm probably.
Might buy a pie just for something to do.

Traffic problems on the M6 and A500 apparently. Might explain why there are only about 40 Preston fans in the seats. The Preston players have made it to the ground and are doing a stupid warm up routine that involves waving their arms around like fucking bellends.

Wow! Preston are hopeless but they still managed to beat us. There were moments when we were good (Well maybe not good but less poor than the rest of the time) when we had chances to score but for much of the game we were woefully bad.
Not sure what the answer is...

In other news: Brentford have had a couple of goals disallowed for offside against liverpool but are still 2-0 up at half time. Klopp isn't happy.
I wish our lads in red and white could show the same commitment as the red and whites of Brentford.

We face Reading at home tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a chance to get back to winning ways but I am not overly confident. Nick Powell is injured yet again and will miss this game.

Definitely worth it today. Played really well in the first half and while Reading looked quite decent at times in the second half we scored another 3 goals. Great for Gayle to finally score even if it was a bit of a fluke! Tom Ince put in one of his best ever performances at the Bet365 Stadium and helped his team to a 4-0 defeat....  |
