Thats great, they really are very interesting creatures. The enclosure is probably more to protect them from the local neds, less so to protect the Trent from the beavers.

Hope to go Alaska in two years to do some hunting and shooting , been watching mountain men on tv how they trap and kill beavers and use their pelts , shooting wolves and moose and coyote , really interesting tv

There has been a great project down here in cornwall where they've introduced beavers into a valley to improve biodiversity and manage flood risk and it's been really successful. It involved local land owners signing up to losing some of their land to flooding to see wider benefits. Hopefully there won't be any twats turning up from afar to come and shoot them for no other reason than it's something they want to do.
