Not a chance of Man City even being made to eat some Alpro soya milk as punishment, punishment is for the likes of Everton, Forest and Leicester!

They sign good players for mega money, then when they have had their use out of them sell them for stupid money to Saudi / the middle east, to their mates / relatives / family.
So they make accounting profits .
If you sign say Mahrez for 30 million play him for 3 or 4 years at his peak and sell him in the autumn of his career to your family/ mates in Saudi, for 31 million , you have made a profit.
FFP is forever in your favour, because who else can always sell for a profit to Saudi? Newcastle maybe ? Er er
Not Everton, stoke , notts forest etc
FFP stitches everything up nicely for manky city thank you.

FFP just widens the gap between the successful, connected, wealthy clubs, and the rest of the pack. Sounds awfully similar to....

FFP needs to be scrapped completely.
Stoke City are debt free and owned by a local lad who’s got pockets full of cash he wants to throw at his business but he’s not allowed to because of FFP constraints ?
Yeah, that seems a fair system 🙄

Yeah, that seems a fair system 🙄 Surprised no club has gone legal to claim restriction of trade. It couldn't happen in any other business. The least they should do is adopt the League 1 system. If the owner wants to put his/her own money into the club to boost their business, unless it's a loan, they should be able to. It's fucking ridiculous, especially when parachute payments create an unfair advantage to those in receipt of them.
