Hope we can get off to a great start in the league for a change but I'm not overly confident about today's match against Coventry.

I watched it. We looked good enough. The 2nd striker in n at about 60 minutes did a good job getting option up field. In years past, I feel like we kicked the ball up and it just goes to the other team. He did a good job of getting the hold up play going and then laying it off.

Happy with that performance. We were excellent in the first half and unlucky not to score. In the second half Coventry played well and had a lot of the possession without threatening too much. Baker took his goal well and the five minutes of injury time was seen out professionally.
A good start for us!

Best team by far in the first half. How junior hit the post with a free header is still beyond me but a solid first half all the same.
Second half Cov came out with a better attitude but we handled it well. Bakers goal came at the right time and we deserved the three points. Really pleased with how we saw the game out at the end too. No drama, no panicking just stuck to their jobs and won the game.
Great three points from a much depleted squad 👍

A good effort from the players and Steven Schumacher.
Pre season injuries to junho and Sam Gallagher weren't part of the plan, but Schumacher and his players found a way to work around that and get the job done.
Definitely reasons to be positive.

Couldn't go today due to work. Disappointing to let in a goal 2 minutes after the equaliser but no need to panic as it's still early days.
