Regardless of the team display ( good and bad ) , Lewis koumas was excellent for an 18 year old making his debut at the bet365 .
Desperately want Schumacher to succeed but he needs to stop overthinking it and get back to basics .
Watching the Sweeney on itv 4 , great acting and a very basic plot... regardless of whether the police have a strong or weak case , Regan believes...just apply pressure, more and more pressure until Team Wrong uns start to crack .
Championship football is a little bit similar to 70s cop shows . Applying the pressure and turning the screw causes cracks to appear.

Koumas was excellent and unlucky not to have scored three. Beyond that there wasn’t a lot to shout about.
I really want SS to be a success, I’m sick of changing managers then players then starting all over again but he really needs to ditch this rediculous inverted wing back system he’s obsessed with. We don’t have the players to do it so just keep it simple. The championship is filled with average teams. Those that physically battle will invariably win whereas we try to avoid any battle by trying to tiptoe around it attempting to play fancy football that usually results in us tripping ourselves up and gifting the opposition clear goal scoring opportunity.
The only decent spell we had last season was towards the end when Schu abandoned his plan and went to a more basic shape. Performances improved, we won most of those games, looked decent and hard to beat and we all loved it.
Everyone else can see it, why can’t he ?

great result today. Should have scored in the first half with the chances we had. Plymouth did well in attack in the second half, johansson saved well on two or three occasions and nice passing and a neat finish for our goal. Close game but I think we deserved our win today. Up to 10th in the league now and Rooney looks even more like Shrek than ever before.

Clean sheet and an away win, can't say fairer than that.

There really wasn't alot between the two teams and both created chances that could have come to something and the individual Manhoeff moment was the difference between the two. Had a few convos with various Argyle fans who to be fair to them wished us well with SS and regret him leaving. They're all mostly resigned to having Rooney and just hoping that the worst doesn't happen

After his disastrous spell in charge of the Blues in Brum.

Nice to see a generation that under-achieved as England players underachieving as managers.
