Popped into a beer / lager shop up Hanley today, "bottle craft".
Expensive but great little shop stocking quite an array of booze and especially some fntastic lagers.
I'm currently sampling some "Veltins" and it's fucking lovely.
Got some Scottish craft lager coming up.... Should have got more tbh.

Popped into a beer / lager shop up Hanley today, "bottle craft". Expensive but great little shop stocking quite an array of booze and especially some fntastic lagers. I'm currently sampling some "Veltins" and it's fucking lovely. Got some Scottish craft lager coming up.... Should have got more tbh. Quite a few of these popping up everywhere, that one in Hanley is good, there's a small one in Leek and a big one in Sanbach n'all. It was my birthday last week and I basically just got random bottles from everybody in Bottle Craft boxes, so they must be popular.  |

Theres some very gay looking beers in there, "Mocha amaretto" for fucks sake and the pink elephant one. Mind you, by Irish prices, theres about a thousands quids worth of ale there.

Haha, they might look gay but there's some serious ale there. I had that Mocha Amaretto last night, it's basically just a strong dark ale (6.5%), they're all a bit coffee and chocolatey, this one was a bit coffee, chocolatey and amarettoy. Quite a good one. And that pink elephant one, I haven't tried the red one but the normal one is a Belgian golden ale and fantastic. Pretty strong n'all, the red is 8% and the original 8.5%. Had a Schneider Weisse (Tap 5) tonight, that's 8.2%. It's basically all the flavours of a typical hefeweizen turned up to eleventy-stupid. Like a wheat beer flavoured whiskey. I'm right into my beers now. |

Got a bottle of this stuff to set about in the coming days, but at 8% I'll wait till a fri / sat night.  Finally got round to this tonight... Surprisingly it's very nice but fuck me it's potent; only had a glass and I'm rocking. |
