Was a great run by Soares, when he first game on he looked a bit slow and off the pace but he grew into the game. For that cross he actually got his heels clipped just before (where you see him stumble) but he still managed to get his cross in.

He's not an accurate crosser in the way that Pennant is in that he can pick out a man and put it on his head, he just gets past his man and puts the cross into a dangerous area (which our strikers should be attacking).

He didn't look terrible, and i'm glad that we actually got to see him over Tonge, because he's an infinitely better option.

Sitting in the South I thought Soares had overhit the ball and it'd be cleared by the bloke chasing, but ended up inch perfect. The last time I can remember seeing him play was the first season up.

Was good to see Upson get on the scoresheet on his home debut, Whelan's was a peach as well. I thought Wilko just might have got one the way he was going second half.
