Took up the morrisons offer the other day and got me a ps3 for 169 quid. Ditched my wii with the games and extras at gamestation and got 170 quids worth of credit. Bought a couple of games, GTA liberty city stories and call of juarez cold blooded. Any suggestions for other decent games? The last console i had like this was a ps2. Was going to get the new duke nukem but i've heard bad shit about it? Cheers  |

Red Dead Redemption is a must if you like GTA and the like. It may be the greatest game ever made IMO. You could try Assassin's Creed, brill story a little easy though. Obviously Fifa or PES, which ever you prefer.

'Batman: Arkham Asylum' and 'Heavy Rain' are both brilliant games that have got platinum so are dirt cheap. Pick both of those up.

great game but you cant replay have to start from scratch.

There's nothing wrong with a linear game like that, the main reason that I play games is to get the sense of achievement from getting closer to the end and I only play through games once, kind of like reading a book. |

Gran Turismo 5 is, imo, the best driving game on ps3 as it covers most forms of racing (Nascar, F1, go karting etc.). However, it can become a bit boring as some of the endurance races can be dull, for example, the four hour Mazda roadster race is the shittest thing on any Gran Turismo. Although with thousands of cars and plenty of cources, there's always something to do.

I loved Heavy Rain Gran Turismo 5 is a bit, well, boring in the end  It's the best racing simulation but if you want fun then go for Burnout Paradise. Probably pick that up for cheap as well |

For decent games that can be bought for DIRT cheap:
Batman Arkham asylum- ridiculously decent for cheapy cheap
Red Faction Guerrilla- Only played the demo which was cool, if you like GTA should be your kind of thing
Just Cause 2- Same as above but looks very lush and is loads of fun.
Mass Effect 2
Very gripping in depth scifi game. I've sunk 52 hours on my first playthrough and currently on 32 hours on my second.
For racing games
Race Driver Grid - never played it but people raved about it.
Split Second Different from standard racing games, fun to play.

Dead Space 1 & 2 are good games if you like 3rd person survival horror (Resi Evil style).
You can probably get Dead Space 1 for a tenner.
