There's a good case for him being Pulis' best ever signing. Came in, worked hard, proved everybody wrong, scored the goals to keep us up comfortably and received a shit ton of praise. Got lazy, thought he was bigger than the club, got nutted, career over. What a statement to every player he works with, he can make or break anybody.
I bet even Huth shits it when Tone gets going.

Definitely, Banjo. Kept us up with half a dozen goals in about ten games second half of that first season.
I still get a frisson of excitement when I remember his header against Man City when we were down to ten men and the Brit was howling with rage at Delap's sending off. Fuck me it was primitive and all the better for it. Also never seen a professional footballer shit himself so blatantly as SWP did for the remainder of that game!
I think he and Lawrence thought they were bigger than the team and Pulis rightly, imo, fucked them both off.

He was a great signing for us and kept us up in that first season with some great goals. Did bugger all for Blackpool in the prem though and if you cant find the net against the teams Rangers play its time to consider your future ;D Maybe a drop down in level would suit him but I dont think his ego would allow it  |
