The Raid 2 is now erm, 'avaliable' online. Oh, and it's possibly the best action movie of all time. No jokes, it's 10/10. Do you need to have watched The Raid '1' ?

You'd be able to follow it, but it does carry on from the first one so I'd recommend watching it. Well, I'd recommend watching it anyway because it's a 9.9/10 ;D

Watched the Raid 2 last night. Was fucking astounding.I've never seen so much improvised and imaginative death in a film in a long time. Superb watch. 9/10.

Watched 'John Dies At The End' last night. Much better than I thought it would be. If you like your movies dark and a bit freaky and fucked up & not taking themselves too seriously, then this is for you!

You should check out the book of the same name, far more fucked up. And it;s sequel is a great read.

Yeah I saw it came from a book. Will check it out. How faithful was it? It was as faithful as they could go for the budget. To do it justice would have cost a shit load and been a 3-5 hour film or even a mini-series. David Wong who runs cracked.com wrote it. Check it out if you get a chance. Superb read.

Rise Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Hate the title, but it's better than Planet of the Apes 2. If anything the titles should be reversed. Probably the best Summer blockbuster this year. Ceasar follows a simple code but he's the best character in it, you forget there's Andy Serkis is beneath it all. Gary Oldman was poorly cast. Some questionable Human decisions dumb the experience down in aid of plot progression, probably trying to heavy handedly tell the viewer that Humans are no better or civilised than Apes, so I'd give it a 7. But the whole experience with the apes and just how fucking incredible they look pushes it to an 8. Plus there's little / no James Franco so that's an 8.25.

Really enjoyed and the last few cinema experiences I've had were fucking testing. Watched Wolf Creek 2 last night, really enjoyed the first but this was a massive pile of shit.

I made the mistake of mentioning that I hadn't seen many Robin Williams films at work last week. To much uproar, 'Not even Dead Poet's Society?' Well now I've seen it.

American Pie Reunion was on the telly the other night, a really quite enjoyed it. I saw the first 2, and the Wedding, none of the other ones. The first one in particular made me laugh my tits off, predicatable but done well.

It appears that life found a way. Jurassic Park was 'my' childhood film, like Star Wars for the generation before. But this looks a bit 'meh'. CGI still doesn't look good as the models they used in 199fucking3.
