Fury 9/10
Great Nazi killing action. Didn't know which way it was going at times due how well written and acted the characters were (Shia Labeouf and Brad Pitt were great in this) as they weren't the typical all American heroes.
I don't normally score films so high but I really enjoyed it. Minus a point for the distinct lack of Allies outside the American contingent.

Will blame you if I don't like it.

Shame as if done properly it could've been great, and was a cracking little sub-plot in the conjuring.

Recently downloaded every John Wayne film ever. The man was a legend. Obviously a bit dated but compare him to dickweeds like Tom Cruise and John Inman and other icons of today. Go Duke. Forgot how brilliant 'Stagecoach' and 'The Cowboys' were. Could never get into the movies of the"duke". Might give Stagecoach a watch this week, and if it's wank I'll set you on fire mate.

The Duke playing Ghengis Khan was cinema at its greatest. As Barry Norman once said (perhaps) ...'If you don't like John Wayne then you are a complete bumder'
Disclaimer....may not have been the actual quote or anything remotely similar by Barry Norman
You watched 'Goodbye Pork Pie ' yet ? A Kiwi road trip classic

Watched "The Drop" last night. Great film with Tom Hardy and James Gandolfino about Brooklyn mobsters. Well worth a look.

Killing Them Softly on Film4 tonight. Utter fucking horseshit and a waste of James Gandolfini. The trailer for it's the high point.

I have Rush to watch tonight if there's nowt on discovery, is it any good? My fave motor racing film is Grand Prix although it goes a bit overboard with clever camera effects, it's a decent film from the days where motor racing wasn't gay
