Got the right thread this time? Champions League update, won 2, drawn 2, lost 1. The loss was at home to Real Madrid  One win was away at Real Madrid ;D, and I just won away to Shaktar who were running away with the group before. Schalke at home last game of the group, they have just 1 point from 5 games (from me  ). If I win, I'm through, I'm 3rd on 8 points, Shaktar top on 10, and Real on 9. Honestly, it would be devastating to get knocked out now, after such ace results. |

Finished 6th in the league. Sean Scannell couldn't produce the goods this year. He scored a pathetic 4 goals. Just need to get a consistant goal scorer, I had like 4 players with about 11 goals each. I'm hoping for Europe next year, either through the cups or to finish 5th.
Signed a regan striker from Boca called Leandro Ruhl for 5 million he's rated 4.5 stars. Got a couple of full backs, a centre back and I got a great deal by swapping Pappis Cisse to Southampton for Yaya Sanogo. Sanogo is half a star less than Cisse but he's 8 years younger and Cisse was disappointing for me anyway. (So far he's scored 8 in 12 games for them this season the stupid goofy prick)
14 games into the season currently 6th, 2 points behind 2nd. I beat Man U 3-0 at Old Trafford beat Spurs then went into a 5 game losing streak and was conceding goals for fun. Almost threw my laptop through the window. Now I'm in a 6 game winning streak and scoring for fun.
Consistently inconsistent.

Qualified for Champions League knockouts!!!
Had to beat Schalke last game to go through, very tense game, I was edging it but there was no quality in the final third. Took a risk and took Sanogo off for Varankov, he's pacy as fuck but his finishing isn't amazing. Passionately told him to 'make the difference', and he did the beautiful bastard.
Would have been a tragedy if I hadn't qualified after just 1 loss in the group. Finished 2nd so might end up getting a crap draw now anyway.

Benjamin Mendy is a pretty good leftback on mine. Picked him up for about £450k from Toulouse (possibly). He's top half premier league quality by 20.

2023/24 was a good year. Did the treble (Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League) and won Euro 2024, beating Germany 3-1 in the process
Think my Stoke team is getting a bit too good now so I'm trying to keep the side fresh by shipping off a few players and buying a few youth players into the Under 18's. Got too many players again though

Benjamin Mendy is a pretty good leftback on mine. Picked him up for about £450k from Toulouse (possibly). He's top half premier league quality by 20. I saw him, but his potential was only 3 & half stars on mine. I found a left back though ;D Currently 2 and half stars ability, some brilliant stats (heading, marking, tackling, agility and team work already 16 and above), and only 21 ;D ;D Not only is he a left back, he is natural all across the back. Potential to be 4 and half stars (2 and half is leading in Pro league) I also got that Leandro from Real Madrid, a very pacey striker, also got the same current ability and potential ability. Both are Brazillians, I think there is a loop hole in belgium because they don't need work permits. I don't even have the Brazillian leagues loaded up and the wonder kids are flowing. I currently have 4 Brazillians starting in my first team, these will both get thrown in too, so I will have 6. Cost me over £10m to get them, but it should be worth it. |

Oh fuck, forgot the 5 home grown players rule Too many good players, too many Brazillians. I also bought a player before my moaning about not having a left back, a Brazillian left back, so now I have an extra one. I also got an Aussie, who has amazing potential, but because of their rules couldn't sign for a year and a half. So forgot about him too. Don't want to sell any players either |

On the home straight to another double. Still gutted about OM, the second leg was 0-0, and I didn't deserve to lose their first. Then they've beaten Man Utd to get to the final.

6-1 away demolition of Wolves.
Been struggling to put decent performances in, but been getting results so no real complaints could be made I suppose. Changed my match prep to teamwork, put in my young french cam, beat Man Utd (H) 3-1, Celtic (A) 3-1, Wolves (A) 6-1, S'hampton (A) 1-0 (great performance, just couldn't score) and beat Wigan 3-1 twice (H&A) once in the league once in the L cup.
Couple of my players have been struggling to settle, including Babacar, Willian and Konoplyanka but Willian and Babacar have really put it together in the last few games and as usual Gylfi has been magnificent (including scoring a 35 yard piledriver against Wigan that had me running around the room). Palacios has also been back on form after a fairly shit season so far (and the one before), scored 4 goals from the BWM position and been great defensively
Clear in the league by 5 points and got a great young squad together now, in summer I'll get Balotelli and/or Cardozo on a free and then spunk my transfer budget on Lucas Moura who is ridiculously good. Then grab a few youngsters and shift and few players on.

Speaking of Spurs, got them in the league cup semis. 1st leg Spurs 0-2 Wimbledon. (Yarmolenko doesn't play) Now thinkning all I need is a draw at home, (easy) 2nd leg Wimbledon 1-4 Spurs Yarmolenko scores a fucking hat trick. Hate that cunt. |
