Ended up taking the Lille job and so I'm embarking on my first french escapade. World cup to go first, qualified as top of the group (Ghana, Belgium and Iran). Belgium and Ghana were the last finalists so not an easy group by any imagining. Beaten Iran and Belgium 1-0 each and currently 6-1 up against Ghana the champions.

I'm currently with Cortiba in the Brazilian 2nd division. Had a good start in the state championships, 100% win record with my ageing striker scoring 34 goals in 17 games. That said, most of these teams are shattered and semi-professional sides with only 2 days between games I'm resting and rotating a lot so its too easy at the moment.
I've got to get them up at the first time of asking, but they went from the south american champions league to relegation in one season, quite why I'm not sure but I've left China now and moved on to Brazil.
The best job I got linked with in England was a league 1 job, damn automatic experience.

Got Man City in the FA cup semi final next game. Spurs in the Semis of the CL and 4 points off Chelsea with 4 league games to go. Considering I've already won the community shield and league cup, this could end up being my most succesful ever season on FM.

I've found more so on this FM than previous versions getting quite far in all the competitions can really decimate your side. If I'm challenging on multiple fronts my side usually limps over the line like a pensioners erection. It can be rewarding though, then spending a couple of years building a great side before moving onto the next challenge: dethroning your side lol.

First night I played it, would've been Sunday, I just sat there playing it and next thing I know it's 6am. Absolutely ridiculous where the time went I've had to stop myself from playing it today just so I don't end up sitting here in the dark not realising what the fuck's going on ;D |

It does happen every so often with something bizarre, few weeks ago had a player throw a right hook on a corner. No real reason, they were just getting sorted in the box, the ball comes in and then the commentary says my right winger has hit the player with a right hook. |
