(I've heard somewhere that they're making the defenses a little shitter to make it easier and therefore less boring)
Anyway, from the one or two races I've done it certainly isn't, all it is is last years but with updated things like I posted above. But I guess Sheldon'sMum is the person you should ask.

I'm really into F1 but never owned an F1 game but I can see myself sinking just as many, if not more hours on this than Fifa which I'm not getting this year due to this (and money constraints). I was on it till 3 Saturday morning and 4 yesterday morning just doing practice laps and staring qualifying at Melbourne trying to eek out extra seconds, setting mint laps but trailing down to 15th. Fucking Lotus  . |

I have also been hating the Lotus, first of all I noticed I'm Kovalainen (sp?) whenever I get into a car because it says so on my jumpsuit, either that or they're really cheap bastards and won't buy me my own. Secondly the car is just so shit, its good through corners but on a straight I don't think it can beat any other car for speed.
I'm a dirty bastard when driving so I will give other racers a little nudge etc but generally where ever I finish in the race there is 15 seconds between me and the car at front at least. Even when I have managed a couple of podiums the only time it has been close was when I won a race, and thats because I was just blocking off every attempt to overtake me lol.

I've had bare little time on it, especially as fifa's out. Only on China qualifying, horrible track, but thats been my tactic ;D. Manage to qualify to 14th, nail it up the first straight, get on the brakes late and weave past the traffic. Still get overtaken by the faster cars but finished 10th. Only did the 12 laps on Melbourne though.
Not noticed the name on the overall's, cheap bastards ;D

I'm loving it, in the Force India, started on Easy just to get a feel for the game and narrowly ahead of Webber in qualifying in Australia by a couple tenths of a second

It's very decent, very decent. You'll soon ramp up the difficulty. Just finished off the Chinese GP, having a right dogfight with Webber after some crafty weaving in and out of the first two corners. ended up 7th after a 10 second penalty for causing a collision. cunts.
Only little gripes I have is that I don't know how strict they are with rules. I do the 28 lap races (fuck doing the full 50 odd), but didn't pit until the last 4 laps when I had to put the Medium compounds.
I would have sold it to you for 26 quid, I'm in two minds to sell it to get Batman Arkham City. Will have to revise the finances.

I'm happy to finish a wet race mate, did spa in the wet and binned it doing 200 out of au rouge ;D Fucking mint accident but the boss wasn't best pleased. Visibility is a nightmare as well in the middle or back of the pack. Amazing fun though. |

Started again on Medium and finished 0.779 seconds ahead of Hamilton in 1st practice
Either I've got the hang of this game bloody quick or the Force India car is amazing
Fucking useless in the wet mind you, about 5 seconds off top, down in 23rd
3rd practice in the dry, finished 1st by 0.452 seconds from Alonso

It is ace trying to get lap times down in qualifying, even by fractions of second. It can actually get quite tiring trying to push the car as hard as it'll go.

I can't remember being that arsed about getting better lap times on any GT's, or any other racing game.

5th on the grid, took all Webber, Vettel, Hamilton and Button at turn 3 after all of them seemed to weirdly slow right down, allowing me to dive straight down the inside
Pitted on lap 11, went onto the Primes, everyone else on the Options, had an absolutely monster battle fighting Alonso off from lap 18 until the end where I won by 0.135 seconds
What a race
