I think we may well see it this coming season, TP must be close to his ultimate team now, starting 11 we don't need that many places, cover wise there is a bit to do though but adding quality will ultimatley give us the cover.
Just need TP to step up the pace for these players (in whuch he has indicated he will do very soon)
Goarrrrrnnnn Stok

That 70s team really was something special lads. To be able to go to home games and have no fear of the opposition was a real joy. After Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool this season we appear to be heading in that direction.
That run of games towards the end of the season certainly included some of the best performances from a Stoke side since the 70s. As a proper team rather than a team with some excellent individuals this side I think this team is as good as it gets. You've got to give huge credit to Pulis for that.

Last season I saw my team dominate Liverpool for 90 minutes, take the game to Chelsea, be gutted at a draw with Manchester United beat Bolton 5-0 at Wembely and reach the FA Cup Final. This is / was the best team I've seen in my 19 years of watching football. Even though we still had a sticky patch midway through last season, it's been an absolute dream.

I'm still in shock that I watched Stoke win 5-0 at Wembley in a FA Cup Semi Final Absolutely unreal Best day of my life. Promotion day can't even rival it, everything about it was perfect. Just wish I could go back.

And it is unfinished business, if Pulis gets it right then law of averages predict we can get a striker that will push 15+ goals (Bent does this consistenty in the prem) and a midfieder who can run the game from start to finish on more that one occasion and do it away from home too. I am so buzzing looking foreward to the new season and what that may bring with it.

If we could improve our away form alone by about 10 points, we'd be top 10, easily

I don't think next season will be our best ever team, too many games.

I'm still in shock that I watched Stoke win 5-0 at Wembley in a FA Cup Semi Final Absolutely unreal That was the best game I've ever seen us perform in, and I don't think I'll see Stoke City play a better game of football ever again. We would have beaten anyone that day, and when you think of the occasion; sending us to our first ever FA Cup final, it makes the performance even greater. The side that started that day in my mind, will be the greatest team I'll ever see wear the red and white stripes.

I must admit the semi-final was special. Seeing my lad and his two mates grinning their heads off and not shutting up all the way back makes it all worthwhile.

That is why I feel we still have more to come from SCFC and Pulis has yet to field his best Stoke side but I totally agree that the Semi was the best ever side I have seen in the red and white stripes.

I think they are evermore the minority, don't get me wrong the fucker winds me up a treat at times take Fulham and Liverpool away last season I was livid at those performances but I know why he does it even if I dunna agree with it.
