Why would they release him for 10 million though, it doesn't make any sense?
They bought him for 13, he's a had a successful season, surely he's worth closer to 20 now?

I know the deal was separate from the Henderson deal but I don't know if it was complete.

The other day I was spaffing all over the prospect of Sturridge (which I still am).
Its great to see players getting us spaffing everywhere!
Just think of the Cole and Jerome partnership we'll eventually end up with and all the spaff goes back in.

It's amazing to look at our team, and see that it only takes three more quality players, at LB, CM and ST to make us a solid top 10 team. Gyan definitely qualifies as one of those three.

We could probably match his current wage, with a whack-off signing on fee to ease the deal. That seems to be our standard practice.
