Totally forgot it was out today. I see you have it J, deliver your verdict squire. Going get it for Christmas I think, got Batman and Deus Ex to finish. Really want to get a 3d tv to exploit this Naughty Dog goodness too

It is, without a shadow of a doubt, absolutely fucking sensational

The reviews say it's not as extravagant in its massive ott set pieces as UC2 but delivers a phenominal story, really involving the characters and asks a lot of questions of Drake. Will probably be game of the year.

It's a lot more character driven than the previous two, however, it's even more OTT than before in my opinion

Excellent, that'll do me just fine. Getting chased along the rooftops in Nepal was one of my stand out moments in gaming

I've just done the boat and plane levels. Wow. It's definitely more extravagant than Uncharted 1&2, I can't think of a game that is quite as epic. God of War has always had it in sections, this goes beyond that though with its level designs.
London set the tone at the beginning of the game, you never see a realistic London in a game. This has double yellow lines and 020 telephone numbers on the 'To Let' signs... then you get above the buildings to see the amazing (and realistic) Thames skyline. Shit like that really puts you in the game, so when you work your way into the tunnels and the London Underground, you feel like you could actually be in a London Underground tunnel and not just in some made up level in any old game.
The boat and plane crash levels were amazing. Think it's mint so far.

I think I'm going to crash through it again at the weekend I played Uncharted 2 through twice. First time just played through the story on easy; second time to collect all the treasures and finish it on hard. Loved that game (even though I couldn't do the last boss on hard and gave up).

Best of the series. Currently up to where you meet Elaina for the second time after the boat level. Love the character development , script and the voice acting.
Look fucking sweet in 3d too.

That was a brilliant level, start off in an authentic feeling pub, the skyline, the decent into the old tube lines and the Victorian an Tudor underground settings. It was epic on such a restrained, subtle level. Naughty Dog are making a game called The Last Of Us that's completely different than Uncharted but retains the sane Naughty Dog level of development. Games should come with a Naughty Dog seal of quality.
