Second time we've played them at home this season. We can win obviously. But I doubt we will, they'll be wanting to win this tournament, Pulis probably isn't bothered if we don't. Hopefully we can keep that superb home form in 2011!
Discuss.

We can do it, just hope Pulis sends out a half decent team and takes it seriously because it's a very winnable trophy
2-1 Stoke, Jones and Jerome

This will hinge on Dalglish's choice of team imo. If he goes for it they'll probably win, if he throws a few younger/reserve players out there think we'll do it. Won't be a fun game though. Sorro Shotton Huth Woodgate Higgy (if he's fit) Pennant Delap Whitehead Ethers Jerome Jones For me. Think Pulis might be willing to put both wingers out there as well with our next game being on the Monday... The flip side to saying Pulis won't be interested is that after the FA Cup run I think he's got a taste for it and will want to win something to really stamp his name in the club's history.

But, with league games, European games and FA Cup games to come. I'm not sure going far in this tournament will be priority. We have enough games as it is.

It's a perfectly viable point.
I mean lets face it, none of us have a fucking clue how Pulis thinks.

I agree, definitely think TP's next big thing is to win a trophy. The more competitions we're in, the greater the chance of us winning something. Currently, there's:
Blackburn Rovers Newcastle United Everton Chelsea Stoke City Liverpool Wolverhampton Manchester City Aldershot Town Manchester United Arsenal Bolton Wanderers Cardiff City Burnley Crystal Palace Southampton
left in it. Get past Liverpool, and there's a great chance of drawing a Championship team in the next round, and no-one will want to draw us at the Brit.

100% go for it! We don't have another game until monday. I think both managers will put out strong sides and it's going to be one hell of a game. A cup night at the brit, the scousers filling their allocation and a good atmosphere. We will win this. For all those on here who are going. Enjoy it

We might well have a good chance of drawing a Championship team, but we won't.
If we get through I reckon it'll be Man City away.

Missing it because of work In previous seasons I wouldn't have been so arsed but last seasons Wembley run has changed my mind set to cup competitions and I imagine many others.

If we have a run of home games, we can get into the final
Come on Stoke, I'm desperate to see us lift a major trophy in my lifetime
