Kenny Dalglsh: "Stoke will be a tough fixture for us, as they all are, and we certainly won't be taking them lightly.
"Stoke deserve all the success that comes their way because Tony Pulis has a philosophy and it has done brilliantly for them.
"To go from mid-table in the Championship to European football in five or so years is an outstanding achievement.
"Sometimes you hear people condemning them for their style, but in my eyes they should be congratulated for what they've done.
"As long as the game is played within the rules, who can tell you what is the right way and wrong way to play football?
"You have to do what benefits your club best. Stoke are an example to any club that has aspirations."

I would go with this Begovic Wilko Huth Shawcross Wilson Pennant Delap Whelan Ethers Walters Crouch Bench: Sorro Jones Jerome Palacios Whitehead Shotton Woodgate Palacios isnt fit and hasnt trained with the players so should be on the bench, Jones isnt getting back into the country untill Friday so best he's on the bench, Whelan will be fine though, if Wilson is injured then bring Woodgate in the middle, stick Huth left, Upson on the bench Prediction Stoke 1 - 2 Liverpool He's back ;D ;D

I think this will prove to be hard game this time. Their full backs are very pacey and Huth getting dragged into the middle could cause us problems. This is the strongest line up from Liverpool we`ve seen at the Brit and Kenny wont play the same defensive set up as Raffa or Woy did. Having said that, providing our full backs stay focused, we are very strong defensively and have looked good in the games we`ve had up to yet only lacking in the goals department. Hopefully Crouch can get off to a good start against his old club and alter that for us. Im hoping Carragher plays for them. He really couldnt handle Etherington running at him and that could be a point of attack for us aswell as the usual set piece threat. Tough game and I`d be happy to bag another point with a 1-1 scoreline

They official Sam?
If so, honestly don't know what Pulis is thinking when he puts Huth at right back. He won player of the year in centre back last season, so moves him positionally. Really pisses me off.
Very happy that Jones isn't playing with Crouch, and Palacios being a sub is clearly related to his injury.

From BBC, only quick edit is Carragher to RB.
Jones only got back from international duty yesterday (?) so that's why he'll be on the bench, Palacios due to fitness and Jerome presumably to give Walters a chance with Crouch. Woodgate has been left out because he's not 100% so we're clearly not risking him.
Huth's been solid at RB so far but I do worry slightly if he comes up against Downing.
Ethers should have a fucking field-day though against Carragher and Henderson (unless Kuyt goes wide right in a 4-5-1).

We're playing well and it's been a pretty even game. Suarez is their only real threat and everything comes through or from him.
Reckon we can hold onto this.
Deano has looked good, Rory has been solid, Crouch has also looked impressive and him and Walters look like they could be a hell of a partnership once they get a good understanding.
