Draw here would put us through top wouldn't it? Now that would be a massive achievement.

Shouldn't this be called **Besiktas v Stoke City** if it's going to be the official pinned match thread?

As long as we avoid defeat I couldn't give a shit if we play awfully and have 5 sending's off.
Begovic will play, Wilko probably will if he's fit, Palacios better play, Diao WILL play, wouldn't be surprised to see a front two of Jones and Jerome, Fuller will come on as a sub, Higgy will play, not sure about Shotts and Upson will play.

I couldn't care less about winning here, I just want a full strength/fully fit/fully rested team to face Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.
Send the fucking women's team.

We need to avoid defeat!!!! oh yeh ;D what channel are we on ESPN? Pathetically so, yeah (I think). Presume Spurs will get a decent channel even though they're pretty much out and not even taking it seriously.

A decent channel like ITV4 or Channel 5? You're joking right? ESPN has far far far better coverage. Far far far better.

According to twitter Pennant has not travelled and left training after 20 minutes today. I have asked Matt Sandoz to confirm that Pennant has not travelled when the Squad arrive at the hotel in about 30 minutes. Another player with talent about to leave the club.

Michael Clarkson and Lucas Dawson have travelled in the squad.

No one who started against Spurs has travelled.
From that; Sorro, Ryan, Shotts, Huth, Wilson, Deano, Whelan, Ethers, Crouch, SJW.
Woodgate isn't in the 23 man squad.
Looking a bit short on cb's, suggestion going around that Salif might play there, or Higgy + Upson with one of the academy lads playing lb? Wilko rb?

Team news for Wednesday evening's Europa League Group E tie between Besiktas and Stoke at the Inonu Stadium in Istanbul (kick-off 6pm GMT).
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has left all 11 players who started Sunday's 2-1 Premier League victory over Tottenham at home.
The Welshman only brought 15 players to Turkey and the team that faces Besiktas will be made up largely of his second string.
Youngsters Michael Clarkson and Lucas Dawson have also travelled while Rory Delap and Andy Wilkinson, who both missed out on Sunday with back problems, could play.
Stoke (from): Begovic, Nash, Wilkinson, Higginbotham, Diao, Upson, Clarkson, Dawson, Palacios, Arismendi, Pennant, Jones, Fuller, Jerome, Delap.
