R.I.P As a little lad(about 10/11) watching this, I didn't understand why a footballer was dying, they were all heroes on the tele, playing my favourite game, I just remember being sad the whole night after seeing it. It just puts things into perspective, for example Ramsey and his leg break, Fabregas etc all said it shook them up, having to play on after that but can you imagine the players on that pitch. I bet they were distraught. RIP Marc.[/center][/b]

Its actually on my calender...I was a massive fan of his since his West Ham days; such a talented player & was taken from us. I remember my brother telling me when I got in; completley gutted especially in a pointless tournament which should be scrapped...its one of the things you remember where you were when you found out...BUT it did make everyone aware of heart problems in athletes which is the only good thing that came out of it.

That's gone mentally quick.
Cheesy, I know, but the day after at school we were playing football on the astro turf and pointing towards the sky in his honour when we scored. Sad fuckers we were.
RIP Marc.
