Not sure if we've had one of threads before (we have the facebook one), the people may not be stupid, just don't think about their actions.
It's minus 4'C and freezing fog, the paved areas in town are lethal with ice, this morning the 2 girls who own nails express decided to get rid of the ice from in front of their shop door by pouring water on it from a kettle.
I even heard a couple of old grannies stop and told them how stupid they were.

Nowhere near as good, but some weird lady who comes into Morrisons every day for the reduced stuff and is an absolute nutter, tried to tell me the best way to drive in the snow is in first gear.

Someone came to see me yesterday and left their mobile phone on the table..I didn't notice until it was too late. I rang their office to let them know, so this person wasn't worrying where their phone was. A minute after I put my phone down, this mobile rang..I answered it (it was the person I had just spoken to ) and said 'there really isn't much point in you ringing this mobile to let the person who's mobile this is know they have left it with me, is there... ;D
After the penny dropped she apologiesed and hung up.. ;D

As i mentioned on another thread, the guy who lives opposite me went away on Friday evening for the weekend in his caravan, not sure if they'd seen 5 days worth of sever weather warnings on the TV  |

Yesterday a Hungarian man went into the local police's building and asked if he could use the toilet. They let him - so the genius took out his air pistol while in there, and asked for 5 uniformed policemen to give him their valuables at the front desk.
Now he faces 5-15 years.

The other week at work a woman (who quite regularly asks ridiculously simple questions) held up a lemon while I was on the opposite side of the table and shouted "is this a lemon?", I told her it was whilst trying to keep a straight face. She didn't leave it there though, she called me over and said "well the sign says 'clementines'". The clementines were beneath the sign and the lemons were above the sign (with a lemon sign above them).
I wonder how people like this live that long.

A few years ago we had a pay-rise vote at work, it wasn't a yes or no vote. There was option 'A' and 'B' to vote for. One option included a smaller rise but new bonuses but that isn't really important. One bloke wanted option 'B' but decided to vote for option 'A' because he thought option 'B' had no chance of being voted in. He was being serious and it took a while to make him realise how fucking stupid he was.
Fools like this have the vote in general and local elections, it's no wonder the country is fucked.

My cousin's husband is American, he's in the navy and is usually based on a submarine.
We went to America last year for a couple of weeks and he kindly offered to show me around the submarine. I thought with it being proper American military I wouldn't be allowed in but he insisted that being with him would get me in.
Three hours it took to get from the house to the sub, I wasn't allowed in.
Fucking Americans.

I thought with it being proper American military I wouldn't be allowed in but he insisted that being with him would get me in.
